M42 the great nebula and
M43just above it. Just at the top of the image are the three stars
of orion's belt with the flame nebula, NGC2024, visible and just
a hint of the dark nebula of the horsehead below it. 2x120 second
exposures at ISO 1600, 300mm lens on Canon 300D Large
